O what Fun we had at O-FUN ISRAEL

I happened to have visited Israel recently with my wife, We stayed in Tel Aviv and really enjoyed the city using every opportunity to be independent and do some sight seeing on our own. The hospitality  and  friendliness of the people was totally amazing

We were however a bit restricted to  Organized  Tours, Taxis or  Busses, then while having a conversation with a fellow tourist, it was suggested that we try renting a bike and cycling. Enquiries were made and we were directed to a cycle shop that rented out bicycles. O-FUN situated near the hotel area of Tel Aviv.

 Well we were in for another very pleasant surprise O-FUN, a leading cycle store supplied us with a couple of all purpose Mountain style bikes, helmets, locks and most important of all.   Directions  of  where, what, and how. We rode out with the original thought that we would be back within a few hours. But we returned to O FUN in the early evening, having ridden south to the old city of JAFFA  visiting  places and seeing sights that we may not have seen. The route we took was through the south of Tel Aviv where the hustle and bustle and action took our breath away. While Jaffa with its old port and excellent restaurants was breathtaking.

We decided to take the bikes again for the following day, It was suggested by Mike,  the owner of O-FUN . that we ride out into the opposite direction, towards the Parks and gardens along the Yarkon  river. The  quite serenity and beauty of the area in complete contrast to what we had seen the previous day. It was while we were relaxing on the grass that another couple rode past on bikes, also with the familiar friendly       O-FUN Logo on their bicycles. So they stopped to chat .  They told us that they had hired a car to travel north to the  Area of Beit Shean, where there were supposed to be some phenomenal bike rides. So we asked them  where one could rent  Bikes over there. Their reply was simple, O-FUN was supplying them with the Bike racks necessary to transport the bikes…… We decided to join them, the following day we called in at O FUN, where all our needs were attended to, and we headed north with our new found friends.  The ride through all  the Beauty and greenery, with all the small lakes and wild birds was the  highlight of our tour to Israel. Our trip to Israel allowed us to appreciate in full the people the sights and the country and because of the  O-FUNS bikes allowed us to see Israel from another vew

Now back in the  USA, we have purchased bikes and we regularly go off to see things that one doesn’t normally see.

So once again thanks to Mike and all the staff at O-FUN, they made this possible
